By completing a program that includes CHEM 322, 348, 436, 437, 450 a student obtains an American Chemical Society-certified major in chemistry. The ACS certified major is recommended for students planning graduate work in chemistry.

4			Early completion of required courses now give time for honors research and other advanced elective courses.
