The United States Department of Education is asking the Chinese Program
at HWS to recommend qualified students to apply for a one-year Chinese
Language Scholarship offered by the Government of the Republic of China
on Taiwan through its Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office
in the United States (TECRO). The deadline for application is March 30,
2005. Interested students please contact Professor Huang as soon as possible.
USDE is also asking the Chinese Program at HWS to recommend qualified
students to apply for a one-year Chinese Cultural Scholarship offered
by the Government of the People’s Republic of China through its
China Scholarship council.
