Commissioned Works:

      Crossing Ground (2007).  This contemporary jazz ensemble was commissioned by

         Middle Tennessee State University.  An original score created for the dance 

         by percussionist David Walker will premiere while the piece is performed as part

         of MTSU�s Fall Dance Concert (2007).

 

      wrought (2003).  This modern ensemble with music by Philip Glass was 

         commissioned for Shelter Repertory Dance Theatre�s full-length concert, A

         Pure White Room with performances in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Geneva, NY

         and Urbana-Champaign, Illinois (2003).

Eastwest Somatics Institute for Movement Education and Therapy (2000-2001)

    Assisted with development of course materials for multiple-level certification including 

    the Teacher Training program.  Facilitated workshops in somatic movement therapy

    (Pahoa, Hawaii; 1999) 

 

Dance Science Lab (SUNY College at Brockport; 1994-95).  Helped supervise

     and maintain the bodywork lab.  Created assessment profiles and conditioning

     programs for all undergraduate and graduate dance students.

 

 

University Student Alumni Board (USAB/SAA; State University of New York at

     Buffalo).  President (1990); Senior Vice President (1989).  This organization

     provided services and programs for the entire campus community.  Responsible for

     fundraising, budgetary planning, overseeing all programs and committees, 

     managing weekly meetings, member recruitment, and organizational development.

 

Greece Parks and Recreation Summer Camps (Rochester, NY)

     Director (1990); Assistant Director (1988, 1999).  Responsible for programming,

     supervision, implementation, and safety of summer-long, day camp activities for    

     over one hundred children and staff each year.

          

 

Service to Hobart and William Smith Colleges

Departmental

Contribute to the daily needs of the Dance Department.  As a very small, active department, the Dance Department faculty share the workload involved in maintaining a successful dance program.       

 

Koshare Advisor:  Hobart and William Smith Colleges� student dance collective. 

    (2006-2007; 1999-2000; 1998-1999)  Advised students regarding club activities and

    all aspects of concert production.  Attended all showings, technical rehearsals,

    performances, and weekly meetings.  Advised officers regarding budgetary planning,

    publicity, programs, guest artist classes, and social events.  Provided artistic

    feedback to choreographers and performers.  There were 126 students and 23

    dances in the 2006-2007 year.    

 

Senior Concert (2007):  Artistic Director

   

Costume Closet Management (ongoing):  Inventory Management.  Initiated plans to

    develop a new database.

 

Faculty Sponsor for ACDF (Boston University; 2006); Chaperoned students to dance

    conference.  Facilitated adjudication rehearsals and performance.

      One of four faculty members responsible for a National Search to fill a new tenure-

      track line in the Theatre Department.  Reviewed over 140 applications.

     One of three faculty members who work with the Theatre Department faculty to

     develop the theatre program at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

 

Theme House Advisor:  Hobart and William Smith Colleges� student residences.

     Dance/Taylor 2 residency for 2008.

       

Choreographer�s Workshops (2006)  Developed and taught a series of workshops for

     Intermediate/Advanced teen dancers and area studio teaching assistants to develop

     compositional techniques. 

 

Geneva General Child Care Center�Taught Creative Movement Workshops for the
