The
Latin American studies program provides students with an understanding
of the many facets of Latin America: its literature and history, its
culture, economics, and politics, including the Latino experience in the
United
States.
About the Department
The
Latin American studies program offers an interdisciplinary major and
minor.
The cross-listed courses and many courses taken abroad count for
the major and minor. All courses must be passed with a grade of C- or
better.
About Study Abroad
HWS offers opportunities to study abroad for a semester in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador/Peru, and Mexico.
