Biographical NoteThere are thirty-four Hobart men and one William Smith woman who are written about in Pro Patria. Their class years ranged from 1914 through 1947, with the majority being from the years 1940 and 1944. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsPro Patria was printed for remembrance of those Hobart and William Smith students who died in World War II. This collection has every step of the process from the making of the Pro Patria publication including receipts, correspondences, associated texts, and edited copies of the publication. There is a scrapbook with a page for each individual honored, including biographic information and other primary sources. Within the collection there are letters from the 1940's from the actual service men and women honored.
