You can identify more books on a given subject by searching over 54 million books in Worldcat and placing interlibrary loan requests for items you would like. Time required for interlibrary loan requests is usually a week to 10 days

Image Databases

ARTstor ARTstor is a digital library of approximately 550,000 images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences with a set of tools to view, present, and manage images for research and pedagogical purposes.

Oxford Art Online contains the full text of the Grove Dictionary of Art, with over 45,000 articles on topics in Western and non-Western art. It also includes many searchable art images and links to images at museums around the world. The library's subscription also includes access to the Oxford Companion to Western Art, the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, and the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms, all fully searchable through Oxford Art Online.
