Cello instructor Jacqueline Wogick is a member of Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. She has toured nationally and through Western Europe as a chamber musician, orchestral player, and recitalist.
She has taught at Northern Illinois University and The University of Iowa and has been on the faculty as cellist and music director at Marshall University and Salisbury University.
She has performed with The Center for New Music, The Baroque Ensemble, West Virginia Symphony, Jonathan Pops Orchestra, Calyx Quartet, and the Green Oaks Chamber Players. In addition, Wogick has received numerous invitations to perform and teach at summer institutes, such as Point Counterpoint, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Iowa All State, and The Heartland Suzuki Institute.
She has conducted the Syracuse University Choir and Orchestra, the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra and Salisbury Youth Orchestra (Maryland), and the Blue Lake International Youth Orchestra.
In addition, she maintains a private studio and a busy ensemble schedule as a chamber player and freelance musician.
Wogick received her bachelor degree from Roosevelt University (Chicago Musical College), her masters from Northern Illinois University, and her doctorate in cello performance and pedagogy from The University of Iowa; she has completed additional graduate work at University of Southern California.
