Soprano Wendra Trowbridge received her B.M. and M.M. in vocal performance from Ithaca College School of Music. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Hobart and William Smith Colleges since 1994. Trowbridge taught previously at Ithaca College and in the New York State public school system. Trowbridge has performed with Glimmerglass opera, Ithaca Opera, Fred Waring's Pennsylvanians and has been a recitalist for concert series through upstate New York. Locally, Trowbridge has been soprano soloist for works such as Vivaldi's Gloria, Faure's Requiem, and Verdi's Requiem. She has toured internationally with the Celebrant singers and her voice can be heard on two of their recordings.
In addition to her work at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Trowbridge is the Director of Music at St. Peter's Church in Geneva, New York, where she directs three community children's choirs.
