Albert Holland Prize for Public Presentations of Physics 1998

The first Albert Holland Prize competition was held on April 16, 1998. Entrants were:

  • Laura Beckwith '98, a double major in Physics and Computer Science
  • Bret Wood '98, a Biology major
  • Andy Dougherty '99, a Physics major
  • Maren Grazzini '98, a double major in Chemistry and Biochemistry
  • Greg Baker '00, a Physics major

The competition was won by Maren Grazzini.

Prof. Larry Cambell moderated the competition, while Prof. Jim Crenner, Prof. Jim Spates, and Prof. Don Spector judged the competition.

This first year of the competition was a resounding success, and we look forward to many years of outstanding student presentations!
