Psychology
provides students with a broad introduction to the study of behavior
and its underlying processes with emphasis on psychology as an experimental
science.
Psychology is the the scientific study of behavior and thought.
Some of the variety of topics psychologists investigate are stereotypes,
repressed memories, eating disorders, attitude formation, and visual
illusions. The professors at HWS are committed to helping students
understand psychology and due to our diverse training, you will
learn about psychology from a variety of perspectives.

Programs
The
department offers a disciplinary major and minor. To count towards
the major or minor, courses must be passed with a grade of C- or
better.
